We’ve crafted a series of easily-accessible, positive rituals based around our bodies’ natural circadian rhythm to help aid restful sleep, create efficient focus and elevate mood.
The UNWIND ritual works with some of KLORIS' most loved formulations to help prepare you for a restful sleep.
SWIPE LEFT TO BEGIN
Run a warm bath if you have one.
A water temperature of 40-43°C is ideal.
If you don’t have a bath, make a foot bath with a large bowl.
Unwrap a ‘Restore’ Magnesium Bath Block and drop it into your bath or foot bath.
Then soak for 20 minutes to give the magnesium and CBD time to absorb through your skin.
With the soundscape still playing, step out of the bath or foot bath and get dry.
At this stage you can rub some KLORIS High Strength CBD Balm into the soles of your feet if you wish.
You may also like to massage some balm into any places where you hold tension - such as neck and shoulders.
Then tuck yourself into bed.
Finally, try this simple breathing technique from an original Bhramari Pranayama exercise.
Studies have shown this breathing technique to quickly calm heart rate and thus help prepare the body for sleep.
• Close your eyes and breathe deeply in and out.
• Cover your ears with your thumbs.
• Place your index fingers one each above your eyebrows and the rest of your fingers over your eyes.
• Next, put gentle pressure to the sides of your nose and focus on your brow area.
• Keep your mouth closed and breathe out slowly through your nose, making the humming “Om” sound.
• Repeat the process 5 times.
